Update: On 16 June ASGA Secretary/Treasurer, Bill Barreda, donated $500 to the Eddy Davis medical fund on behalf of the Austin Senior Golf Association.
According to Al Chock, ASGA former President:
Eddy is the person that usually handles the phone calls for the ASGA tournaments and handles all the details including posting the scores on tournament days. I think it would be a super gesture on the part of the ASGA to donate some money to his medical fund to help defray some of the thousands of dollars he will be paying to treat his lymphoma. Some of the guys who are familiar with Eddy, like Bob Chapa and Pete Guttery have expressed a desire to contribute to a fund.
